Membership

  A person is eligible for Party membership if he: 

1. Is a citizen of Sierra Leone and has attained the age of eighteen; 
2. Accepts this Constitution, the aims, objectives, principles, programs and discipline of the Party;
3. Is not a member of another political Party in Sierra Leone; and 
4. Has applied in the proper form and paid the requisite membership fees prescribed by the Party. 

 Associate membership shall be open to Sierra Leoneanorganisationss that subscribe to the aims, objectives, policies and programs of the Party. 

1.  Any person who satisfies the criteria set out in Article 9 of this Constitution may apply to the Party in a prescribed form to become a member. 
2. Any person who wishes to become a member of the Party may apply for membership in any district that he resides or hails from, or in any other branch of the Party. 
3. The National Secretary General shall consider applications for membership, the District Executive or branch in which the application is made. 
4. Every person shall, upon being enrolled, be issued with a membership card bearing the person's name, address and constituency or external branch in which the person has been enrolled. 
5. A person shall only be deemed to be enrolled as a member of the Party on the date on which his name is entered into the Register. 
6. The Party shall maintain a Register of its members both physically and electronically. 

1.   Honorary Foundation;
2.  Patron; 
3.  Honorary Executive; 
4.  Ordinary. 

Honorary Foundation members are highly distinguished members of the Party who have served the Country and the Party at the highest levels as Presidents, Vice Presidents, Speakers and Leaders of Parliament, National and Deputy Chairmen and National Secretary Generals of the Party and holders of such other offices as may be determined by the National Secretariat, subject to the approval of the National Advisory Committee. Such persons must apply for such membership in a prescribed form and pay the requisite fee.

Patron members are those members who undertake to contribute to the Party's funds at a much higher level than the Honorary Executive members. They may be called upon from time to time to raise funds for the Party. They shall apply for such membership in a prescribed form and pay the requisite fee. 

Honorary Executive members are those members who choose to contribute funds to the Party at a much higher level than the Ordinary members. They shall apply for such membership in a prescribed form and pay the requisite fee 

Ordinary membership is open to every Sierra Leonean who has attained the age of eighteen, applies for such membership in a prescribed form and pays the requisite fee. 

All applicants for membership into any category of the Party must fulfil the qualification criteria set out in Article 9 above
